Boral currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Officer located in Chullora NSW 2190.
The role will focus on providing efficient and accurate Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll services in a fast paced environment.
Your day will involve: Processing and matching invoices to Purchase Orders or Cost CentresProactively communicating with Suppliers to effectively resolve invoice holds and blocksCommunicating and maintaining relationships with internal service usersSupporting continuous improvement and standardisation of accounts processesEnsuring all Accounts payable/receivable processes comply with accounting standards.Back up Payroll responsibilitiesWhat we are looking for? Demonstrable long-term experience in Accounts Payable.
Receivable & Payroll desirableExperience in a high volume, fast paced environmentUse of Accounts Payable in an ERP systemAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal contacts and external suppliersProven ability in time management and in managing work prioritiesDemonstrable ability to work in a teamAbout Boral Cement At Boral, we supply up to 4 million tonnes of cementitous products through our Berrima Clinker & Cement Manufacturing, Maldon Cement Grinding & Packaging, Marulan South Limestone Mine & Manufacturing, and Geelong Cement Grinding Operations.
Boral Cement is working towards reducing carbon emissions by replacing 60% of fossil fuel in its manufacturing process with lower carbon alternative fuel.
We have invested heavily in the development of Berrima's alternative fuel project, to enable to the transition from coal to refuse derived fuels.
