About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Specialist to join our Information Technology Team
This role is responsible for the technical ownership of a large suite of applications, including enterprise applications run firm-wide through to niche applications that service specific parts of the firm.
It will provide excellent experience collaborating with different areas of the business and assist the internal team to continually build on and improve existing processes and technology.
Your key duties will include:
Providing application support, including maintenance, and ensuring stability, performance, reliability, and security as required with a focus on continual improvement.Building relationships with key stakeholders – internal and external.Standardising and streamlining support processes across applications.Creating and maintaining adequate documentation across applications.Participation in initiatives and projects, working as technical lead/SME to implement 'fit for purpose' solutions.About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following technical experience:
Web server and application support experience, such as IIS.Active Directory and Microsoft environment experience.Knowledge and experience implementing enterprise-grade solutions.Ability to build relationships with and manage vendors effectively including managing support arrangements and SLAs.Experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform (i.e., PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Dynamics).We are looking for the following power skills:
Strong attention to detail.Ability to read logs and events.A 'can do' attitude with a drive to succeed.Open-minded, empathetic, and resilient.Learning agility and a growth mindset.Ability to build relationships with key resources – internal stakeholders and vendors.The following would be advantageous, but are not a prerequisite:
