About Triple Zero Victoria Triple Zero Victoria (000VIC) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies.
It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.
This integration of emergency services communications within 000VIC is unique in Australia and rare worldwide.

About the Role The CAD Application Specialist is a key subject matter expert and reports to the Data Management Lead. The goal of the function is to deliver the TZV transformation program.
The role provides expert advice and insight to CAD as an application, its data and data structures, and the functionality/business processes.
The incumbent should be an experienced technical expert and have experience in the daily running, configuration, and support of a CAD Application. The main purpose of the role is to deliver the TZV transformation program as per the Next Generation CAD Project and the Emergency Services Integration Platform (ESIP).
Day to day responsibilities include:
Provide technical insights and expert advice on the CAD application, including software components, integrations and supporting technologies and processes/functionality
Create documentation to support change and knowledge transfer
Participate in the build and transition of change to the Next Generation CAD application
Engage with solution and domain architects to ensure the CAD application is fit for purpose and meets the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the organisation.
Engage with the System Integrator and/or System Vendor to integrate the design, build and transition activities to the BAU Teams
About You The preferred candidate will be skilled at engaging in application management activities in similar large-scale technology environments and have knowledge of implementation and transition management principles of mission-critical systems.
The following skills and attributes are required for the role:
Substantial experience in a large organisation supporting a mission-critical platform
Comfortable with engaging stakeholders at all levels and will have a blend of strategic thinking, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills, and be accountable and autonomous
A Tertiary qualification in Business Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related discipline and/or substantial experience in application management.
