We are partnering with one of the Australia's leading Systems Integrators who specialise in providing engineering solutions in industrial automation & control systems (ICS), SCADA, IIOT, electrical engineering, and analytics.
This company has a strong brand name in the market as specialist engineering professionals who take pride in their craft, project execution and innovation.
They have a strong presence in industrial markets including water/wastewater treatment, smart cities, manufacturing, utilities, FMCG, and more.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of new business and the expansion of existing business across the water and wastewater industry in QLD.
This is an autonomous role where you will be trusted to manage your time and travel requirements in order to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop and implement strategies to build client-centric solutions into exisiting and new accounts Visit clients to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including at C-Suite level Prepare proposals, respond to tenders and supervise agreements Participate in industry events, trade shows and exhibitions About You
Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, automation etc.)
OR a proven technical appitude in a similar position In-depth understanding of PLC and SCADA systems, IIOT, RTU's, industrial communications, and network design Experience with solution-based sales approach A passion for all things industrial automation, with a keen interest in keeping abreast with the latest developments and products in the market.
