#BELIMITLESSJob DescriptionResponsible for the management of all group bookings of 10 rooms or more.Handle enquiries for group bookings via email or phone during the shift, communicate immediately, and provide a reply or confirmation within a reasonable timeframe.Handle guest complaints and enquiries in an efficient and professional manner and ensure the Manager is informed of any guest feedback.Perform all reservations duties including making and entering reservations.Prepare group information sheets (group movements) and briefing of Hotel Stakeholders prior to arrival of group.Ensure a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests or other reservation-related matters.QualificationsExperience in a Front Office or Reservations role is highly desirable.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Opera PMS is advantageous.Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.Time management skills with the ability to multitask.Additional InformationNovotel and Ibis Melbourne Central is a dual branded hotel with 473 rooms conveniently located in the CBD.Everything we do, we do to help make our guests and our people feel welcome and valued to give them the best experience they deserveWhat is in it for you?Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide from day one.Learning programs through our Academies.Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldAbility to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities.Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
