MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERPart time temporary position, 75 hours per fortnight Applicants must: hold a valid NSW Working with Children Checkhave the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentialityhave a working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policiesProvide evidence of well-developed communication, administrative and office skills with an ability to deal tactfully, confidently and effectively with people at all levelsHave the capacity to show initiative and demonstrate effective time management, organisational and planning skills with an ability to meet pressing deadlines and competing prioritiesHave an advanced English proficiency and exceptional attention to detailHighly developed skills in social media management, graphic design and basic video editing as well as a range of Microsoft and Google applications with willingness and ability to learn new systemsCapacity to take direction and willingness to work as part of a teamCollaborate with staff to align content with strategic goals and promote community initiativesPreviously relevant experience is essentialCurrent First Aide Certificate is desirableKey Responsibilities: Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms, aligned with the College's mission and valuesProduce, manage and edit communications, e.g.
Newsletters, annual yearbook and update the Website with accuracy and consistencyProvide photography support where required for small College eventsPromote and cover school events through digital campaigns and live updatesAbility to be flexible with hours when requiredHave the ability to identify the Mission of a Catholic School and demonstrate Christian Values in dealings with staffEnquiries should be directed to the school at 6626 2606.
