Gfg Alliance | Scheduling Lead | Gold Coast

About the role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is looking for a Scheduling Lead to be based in our Gold Coast site.
You will support our supply of reinforcing steel to varied projects across multiple segments of the construction industry.
Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, you will provide direction, training, and support for a team of reinforcing detailers.
You will maintain relationships with key customers and industry partners while delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities:
Provide clear leadership and foster a customer-centric culture within the team Develop team members through training, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring progress on their individual development plans Allocate jobs effectively to optimize workflows and deliver consistent service to customers Generate reinforcing bar, cutting, and bending lists from the structural and architectural drawings Negotiate and manage project requirements, timelines, and quality for medium to large, complex projects Identify potential production or product solutions, and negotiate changes with customers to reduce detailing and production costs Co-ordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production, and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects Workplace Health and Safety is our top priority and continuously maintain a healthy work culture
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience with detailing of reinforcing steel Strong ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings Technical knowledge of the building and construction industry or exposure to engineering People management experience Passionate about building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders A self-motivated, proactive, and resilient mindset Excellent time management and attention to detail skills to maintain customers' delivery programs Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam is highly regarded Key Benefits: Below are some of our key central benefits that are available to InfraBuild employees.
