Accounts Payable Officer

Opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the busy finance team of this well regarded food manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is an integral part of the Finance Team and works closely with other departments to ensure that the Accounts Payable process is administered in line with financial compliance requirements, ensuring suppliers and contractors are paid correctly and on time.
Ideally you are solutions focused, accurate and have the confidence to build rapport and strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
The role includes the following duties: Processing weekly and ad-hoc payment runs.
Entering payment details Reconciling credit card statements and following up outstanding invoices and receipts.
Monitoring and actioning emails in the finance inbox to ensure timely and accurate processing of requests.
Working closely with other departments and General Managers to ensure compliance with company financial standards and policies.
Processing invoices into Xero and ensuring they are paid correctly and on time.
Monthly review and audit of GST transactions.
Providing administrative support as and when needed.
Updating Excel spreadsheets.
Ideally you have 2 plus years experience in accounts payable and a proactive work manner.
