We are exclusively partnering with a Tier-1 Mining Asset Owner to source an experienced Senior/Project Engineer to provide support on the planning and delivery of sustaining capital projects across a complex brownfield environment.
You will provide technical and project management guidance throughout the full lifecycle of road construction packages and other civil related infrastructure works.
This client-side position involves flying to a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2/1 roster engagement.
Accountabilities: Supporting multiple projects and project managers concurrently Driving and coordinating projects from an engineering, cost, schedule, and quality perspective Managing engineering partners through concept and detailed design phase, including document reviews, organising design reviews, responding to technical requests, and liaising with stakeholders Supporting construction teams by providing technical guidance in the field during execution activities Engaging and fostering relationships with internal (projects, operations, maintenance) and external (design consultants, construction contractors) stakeholder groups About You: Tertiary Qualification within Civil Engineering Strong project management experience working on road construction or expansion projects is a Must Proven exposure to government related works with an understanding of TMR and/or DIPL requirements Site experience in a remote mining setting is seen as highly beneficial Demonstrable ability to manage capital projects concurrently with an understanding of all projects deliverables Stakeholder engagement and management of contractors/EPCM's Commercial acumen and the ability to manage a budget and interact across business functions Benefits: Work within a Tier-1 mining asset owner environment An opportunity for the right individual to make the move from the construction industry into the mining sector Strong project pipeline - offering long term security Contribute to a range of projects that have strong community and environmental focus Diverse, inclusive environment with a focus on development and autonomy Great FIFO lifestyle in a beautiful setting located at the top of the Northern Territory
