This role will be based in our site office in Darwin, on a 15 days on, 6 days off roster.
Clough in a joint venture with BMD have been awarded by the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility.

Your focus will include:
Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with the procurement team, to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the project Raising and issuing of confirmed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures Managing the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages Working with Vendor management to pre-qualify Suppliers where required Ensuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and Services Reporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process What you will bring to the team: 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role as a Buyer Documented experience of managing procurement of major equipment packages for infrastructure projects Exposure to EPC type reimbursable projects Previous experience working with SAP would be highly regarded Competent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders Experience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentation Basic knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining purchasing/expediting data in materials management systems Ability to work a 15:6 FIFO rotation to site Clough's people enjoy: A competitive remuneration package Flexible and remote work options to manage work and lifestyle commitments Ongoing training for career progression Industry leading paid parental leave program from the day you join Mental health and wellbeing programs Employee assistance program for employees and their families Special offers on private health insurance, salary packaging, banking, travel, groceries and more A supportive team culture and environment We're building a diverse workforce At Clough, we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities in which we work and live, fostering an inclusive environment that accepts every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.
