Position summary Inverse Group is excited to be partnering with a number of fantastic organizations to discover their next Engineering Manager.
Both roles requires excellent leadership skills and technical expertise to ensure the performance, development and well being of members are cared for.
Where they differ is one leading a smaller team which enables the opportunity to remain hands on and the other will be leading a fairly large team and will be focused more on leading other leaders.About the company Inverse group is excited to be partnering with a number of fantastic organizations to help discover their next Engineering Manager.

This is an opportunity to join and lead high performing teams in a fast-paced environment where what you do can make a significant impact to the sector the organization serves.About the roleKey responsibilities include: Being part of the senior leadership group understanding the vision and the priorities required for it to be realized.Collaborating with others to define the product road map ensuring alignment to the company's goals and vision.Communicating the strategic direction and guiding engineering teams.Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team membersDeveloping team members to unlock their potentialManaging the well-being and job satisfaction of the engineering team, promoting engagement and retentionEnsuring software quality and performance standards are met.Identifying roadblocks and coming up with ways to alleviate the impediments Where the role differs: Engineering Manager:Remaining hands on getting involved in building new features and enhancement leveraging Python, Node.JS, REACTLeading a team of Software Engineers, Test Analysts and potentially Infrastructure specialist.
Senior Engineering Manager:Leading, guiding and developing other Engineering ManagersCollaborating with other leaders that operate in different time zonesAbout the candidateKey Requirements: Previous background in Software Engineering having pushed code into productionMinimum of 5 years of experience in Team Leadership/ ManagementPrior experience working in a start up/ scale up environmentDemonstrable experience inspiring, leading and developing a high performing teamPrevious experience successfully collaborating with senior leaders/ c suite.
