Our client A leading investment banking firm specialising in natural resources wish to appoint an IB Analyst to join their high-performing team.
With expertise in corporate finance and advisory, stockbroking, research, and funds management, the firm has a strong presence in the metals, mining, and energy sectors.
The opportunity Poised for significant growth and further success, the firm have a newly created opening for a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join and support the team in executing key transactions, such as mergers & acquisitions, capital raisings, and project finance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial markets to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include: Assist in the execution of corporate finance transactions, including M&A, capital raisings, and project finance.Perform financial analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence on transactions.Prepare high-quality presentations, transaction materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with clients and external parties to ensure seamless execution of transactions.Support senior team members in managing transaction timelines and workflow.Stay up to date with market and industry trends, sharing relevant insights with the team.About you Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, law, engineering, or a related field.3-4 years of transaction experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar role.Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modelling.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
