If you require an adjustment for the recruitment process or job, please discuss this with the contact officer.PRIMARY OBJECTIVEUndertake overhead and underground power line design works on Power and Water's transmission/distribution network to ensure specified project objectives are met by providing high-quality project engineering and application of quality management systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out detailed designs for both underground and overhead distribution system extension and augmentations to ensure ongoing compliance with Power and Water Corporation's technical codes and guidelines.Manage project financial budgets to be cost-effective and efficient.Manage processes for tender specification preparation, tendering, tender evaluation and recommendation, procurement of required materials and construction handover documentation.Manage all stakeholders to achieve specified key performance indicators in all projects assigned.Ensure efficient and effective monitoring systems are in place to control project outcomes.Review electrical designs from external electrical consultants, contractors, and developers for subdivisions and commercial/multi-storey residential developments.Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.COMPETENCY PROFILEBuilds effective teams, courage, cultivates innovation, customer focus, directs work, interpersonal acumen, plans and aligns, resourcefulness.MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIESNo.
