About the roleBecome the Cafe Manager at The Volt cafe' located in Clyde North, VIC.
This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a talented team of hospitality professionals.
As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cafe's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the business' success.
What you'll be doing
Manage and lead a team of baristas, chefs and front-of-house staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and financial reporting
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve efficiency and enhance the overall cafe experience
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement and professional development
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with the wider business team to support the growth and development of The Volt cafe'
What we're looking for
Extensive experience in a cafe or hospitality management role, preferably within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
Proficient in using point-of-sale systems, inventory management software and other relevant technology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services
