Payroll Officer
Location: Melbourne CBD (5 days in office)
Salary: $45.74 per hour + super
Contract Duration: 2 months
Start Date: ASAP
Randstad, a preferred recruitment partner for a reputable Government organisation, is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage payroll administration and assist with payroll processing, including generating import spreadsheets and maintaining system records.
Provide expert advice on salary, leave entitlements, payroll policies, and employee conditions.
Support the People & Culture and Workplace Relations teams with accurate payroll-related guidance.
Resolve complex payroll issues independently while maintaining accurate payroll data.
Collaborate on payroll projects and support initiatives to enhance payroll service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
2–3 years of payroll experience.
Proficiency in SAP software is essential.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, agreements, and policies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Screening Requirements:
Triple vaccination is required.
Successful applicants will undergo a National Police Check and pre-employment misconduct screening.
