APS5 equivalent payrate $55+p/h plus super Located in Robina, Queensland About the Team Join the Social Media team within the Media Branch, part of the Strategic Communications Division.
Our team is dedicated to engaging and informing the community through social media channels.
We lead the social media content strategy, including content creation, advertising, analytics, listening, and reporting.

About the Role As an APS5 Social Media Officer, you'll play a key role in executing and refining our social media strategy.
In this role, you'll be empowered to make independent decisions in your areas of responsibility, provide policy advice, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders to support the team's objectives.
Your work will involve creating, scheduling, and managing content, monitoring social media performance, and using data insights to enhance the effectiveness of our social media presence.
Crafting social media posts that align with brand and style guidelines.
Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the social media strategy.
Building an online community by identifying and sharing relevant third-party content.
Scheduling content and managing posts using social media platforms and management tools.
Leveraging data and analytics to continuously refine social media approaches.
Producing reports on social media performance and providing insights for improvement.
Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to create timely, relevant content.
About you To thrive in this role, you need: Experience in social media for a national brand or government organisation.
Strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering accessible, creative content.
Ability to create engaging content in a regulatory environment.
Experience with social media analytics and paid advertising.
Background in the disability or health sectors.
Proficiency with Hootsuite or similar social media management tools.
Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
