Customer Service Manager

In this hands-on sales role, you'll be leading the sales team at our flagship Welshpool branch and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to some of our largest customers who are the lifeblood of the electrical industry in WA
*This is not a call-centre role, and if you have predominantly call-centre related experience, this role will not be suitable for your skillset* A bit about youProven track record in driving day to day and contractual salesElectrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience essentialExperience and knowledge within the electrical mining/industrial sectors highly desirableExperience leading and developing a complex team within a high-volume sales environmentCRM experience essential along with outstanding customer service skills with a 'customer first' mentalityAn eye for detail and a passion for profitable salesAbility to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritise tasks based on urgency for the customer, but with an understanding of the commercial impact to the businessThrive in a culture of change and be an advocate for driving change through your teamA bit about your roleActively work with our external sales team to maintain and grow our customer baseActively grow our account sales and margin through service and off contract opportunitiesManage the day-to-day operation of the Internal sales team, including coaching, leading and communicating key priorities to create an inclusive culture to build high levels of engagementAbility to manage diverse and complex supply contracts in partnership with internal stakeholdersSeek ways you and your team can improve the level of service being offered to our customersMonitor workflow through telephony queues, email and other business systemsManage escalations and ensure the departments KPI's are metManage customer DIFOT in line with the contract termsActively manage our CRM system with your team to ensure compliance with business KPI'sEnsure customer requests are actioned in a timely manner within allocated timeframesEngage with customers, suppliers and sales teams to cultivate strong long-term working relationships.Rexel Electrical Supplies, a part of Rexel Australia is a market leader serving commercial, industrial, residential and retail customers with world-class products, services and energy efficient solutions.
