Job Description Accurate weekly processing of a high-volume payroll function in line with company policies.Handling payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner.Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax, superannuation, and employment legislation.Maintaining up-to-date records of employee working hours and leave balances.Assisting in the preparation of end-of-month financial statements.Coordinating with human resources to ensure correct employee data.Performing other related duties whilst reporting directly to the finance manager.The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Officer should have:
A strong educational background in Accounting or Finance.Proven experience in a Payroll Officer role or similar.Proficiency in a range of payroll software and MS Office applications.Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and payroll processes.Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to work under pressure and in high-volume environments.What's on Offer A pay rate of $40 - $50/hr.The opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in the business services industry.A supportive and inclusive company culture.Flexible working hours & potential WFH opportunities to promote work-life balance.If you are a motivated Payroll Officer looking for a temporary assignment in a high-performing organization, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
