Join us in driving financial success and innovation within Boral Asphalt's National Finance team.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join the team based at North Ryde. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.Your day will involve:Month-end accounting including journals and reconciliations.Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.Work with Asphalt business to drive favourable cash outcomes across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory.Capital management – reporting, business case development and member of Asphalt Capital Committee.Ensure all transactional processes comply with accounting standards and Boral Accounting Policies.Identify and report process gaps and participate in continuous improvement opportunities.Ad-hoc analysis & insights that drives business objectives.Support State Commercial Finance Managers.What we are looking for:Superior Microsoft Excel and Word skills.Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.Experience in understanding complex financial reports.Detailed understanding of Financial Systems.Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.What's on offer:Ongoing mentoring and guidance from outstanding industry leaders and colleagues.Genuine career growth opportunities within Boral Australia.Access to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance Program.Free On-site parking.Novated Car Leasing Scheme.About Boral AsphaltBoral Asphalt supplies high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects - from local streets to highly complex infrastructure including freeways, highways and airport runways.
