This pivotal role will focus on providing strategic direction to drive efficiency and productivity while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and making a significant contribution to achieving optimal contract outcomes.About the roleReporting to General Manager – Operations, the Senior Contract Manager – Victorian Schools will be responsible for the overall delivery of cleaning services for a parcel of the Victorian Government Schools Contract. This role will involve fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring commitment and accountability in the delivery of cleaning services associated with this contract. Monthly performance reports and targets will need to be reported on. In this critical position, you will lead a team of 6 dedicated Area Managers, who will manage the day-to-day operations of their respective portfolios. This is a senior role and is to be considered as a lead up to a General Manager position.Duties include (but are not limited to):More than five years in a similar role, preferably within a service-based industry (Cleaning Industry experience in a national company is highly desirable)Promote and monitor safe work practices ensuring compliance with risk management, quality assurance, workplace health and safety, and statutory and contractual obligationsStrong financial and budget management capabilities are essentialPrevious experience in managing multiple sitesProven excellent strategic leadership, strong communication and client relationship skillsDemonstrate sound organisational skills and ability to prioritiseProven labour planning, conflict resolution and people management skillsEnsure compliance with contractual requirements for service delivery, timeliness and reportingImplement a proactive approach to meet key stakeholders' (Principals and Business Managers) requirements, achieve desired outcomes, and drive improvements, ensuring that delivery standards and specifications are consistently metProven ability to deliver sustained resultsDemonstrate strong analytical and report-writing skillsDelivery of high level of customer service and maintaining operational efficiency standardsActively participate and contribute to Senior Management meetings with high-quality outcomesHold current tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplineAbout youYou always strive to do your best, and with a continuous improvement mindset and flexible approach, you are highly adaptable and calm even during challenging and busy times.
