About the Opportunity:LUCAS Restaurants is about to embark on a significant period of growth with a number of new venues opening this year.
To facilitate this, we are on the lookout for a Head Chef to join the team.Reporting to the Group Executive Chef, the Head Chef will lead a talented team and ensure the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated experience as either a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environmentTrack record of leading teams that deliver outcomesAbility to manage staff performance, including unsatisfactory performanceDisplay exemplary leadership and passion for global cuisine trendsUnderstanding of financial budgets, food and labour costsExperience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentationRostering and ordering experienceMonitor and supervise OH&S standards and proceduresAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsOutstanding time managementCalm and composed demeanourQualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentWorking with LUCAS Restaurants:People are at the core of our success and our culture goes beyond our workplace.
