Strategic Insights Manager
is responsible for the development of high impact customer insights related to customer behaviours across and within the various loyalty partners and businesses.
Based on these insights and in collaboration with Qantas Loyalty stakeholders, this role is responsible for the identification of opportunities to increase customer engagement and profitability via improvements to the Qantas frequent flyer program.This role will work closely with senior Qantas Loyalty management and the Senior Manager of Strategic Insights to form recommendations on key strategic issues relating to the Qantas Hotels & Holidays businesses and other group-wide initiatives that impact Qantas Frequent Flyer members.What you'll bring to the role –Degree-level qualifications, with preference for degrees in applied statistics or a related analytical fieldCommitment, professionalism, respect and a 'can-do' attitude in any situationPrevious experience in turning raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations, with a proven track record of successProven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to developed insights and recommendationsExtensive experience in extracting and manipulating large volume data with SQL, with direct experience with the Teradata platform preferredHigh level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPrior experience in using Tableau desiredProven ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, both in verbal and written formatsStrong capability of managing and prioritising a number of competing tasks for different stakeholdersA background in airline, or other loyalty businesses is not necessary, but a strong interest in the industry and a desire to learn more would be highly desirableWhy Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
