Psychologist Contractor Positions at PAWS Psychology, Eltham Join PAWS Psychology in Eltham and become part of a supportive team, including the beloved "Awesome Foursome" therapy pets We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated general or clinical psychologists to work with children, young people or adults.
While our Director, Robyn, incorporates therapy pets in her sessions, it's entirely optional for you.
We offer flexible contract hours to suit your lifestyle and commitments.

Monthly Client-Free Afternoons: Enjoy client-free Friday afternoons once a month with optional social or collaborative opportunities with peers.
Flexible Shifts: Shifts available in the mornings, afternoons or weekends as agreed.
Responsibilities: Work autonomously to provide reliable, consistent support to clients, ensuring a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.
Offer high-quality psychological services that build trust and rapport, making clients feel genuinely supported and understood.
Apply effective therapeutic techniques such as Play Therapy, CBT, ACT, or Schema Therapy, adapting your approach to meet each client's needs.
Build strong, positive connections not only with clients but also with their families, offering parenting guidance to support children's progress beyond sessions.
Demonstrate independence, motivation, and a dedicated work ethic in all aspects of client care and practice management.
Engage in self-reflection and professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in psychology.
Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration.
Working with Children's Check (or eligibility).
External supervision as required by AHPRA.
Own ABN or willingness to obtain one.
Medicare provider number or willingness to obtain one.
Must love animals – therapy dogs and clinic cats onsite.
Experience in neurodivergent (ADOS, MIGDAS) or cognitive/educational assessments.
Interest or experience in ADHD coaching and support for adults.
