The Company Our client is a well-known government organisation who are seeking a passionate Senior Coordinator, Distribution Development to support the implementation of sales strategies and programs to support a key NSW tourism vision.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and delivering stakeholder events, with a preference for experience using digital channels.
This part-time contract role is for two days per week, on Thursdays and Friday until December 2025.
The Job During this Senior Coordinator assignment, you will be responsible for the following duties: Plan and deliver B2B events showcasing NSW tourism experiences.
Coordinate NSW program events, including digital and face-to-face formats.
Develop and manage familiarisation programs for distribution partners.
Build strategic relationships to promote NSW destinations and drive growth.
Monitor and report on program outcomes and stakeholder feedback.
Represent NSW at events to enhance product distribution.
Provide expert advice on NSW destinations to support partner programs.
You To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas: Tertiary Qualifications in Tourism or a related discipline.
Strong stakeholder management experience with distribution platforms, industry associations, and local tourism bodies.
Expertise in event design and delivery, including digital education/training initiatives.
Knowledge of visitor economy distribution channels.
Proficient in Salesforce and SAP.
Experience with Aboriginal groups and cultural sensitivity (highly regarded).
