Aboriginal Health Worker or Practitioner (Qualified – Male)DescriptionSummary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aboriginal Health Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive and comprehensive primary healthcare to the Yalata Community.
This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to address community health needs while ensuring adherence to established protocols and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide culturally appropriate health care services to patientsWork collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plansConduct health assessments and screeningsProvide health education and promotion to individuals and groupsAdvocate for the health needs of patientsMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsParticipate in quality improvement activitiesAttend relevant training and professional development opportunitiesQualifications and Eligibility: Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (or equivalent)Must be willing to participate in after-hours on-call rosteringHold an unrestricted Australian valid driver's licenceMust hold or be able to obtain a South Australian Working With Children's ClearanceMust be willing to relocate to or live in the Yalata Community.Role TypePay Rate38.32 AUD - 42.43 AUD (Hour)
