Civil Estimator - Major Civil Infrastructure Projects (NSW)
We're searching for a highly skilled Civil Estimator to join a renowned leader in civil infrastructure across New South Wales. With a strong portfolio in bridge construction, structural concrete, highway upgrades, and tunneling, this role offers an excellent opportunity to be a part of transformative projects across NSW.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate first-principle estimates with the support of our estimating team, ensuring precise cost allocations and leveraging current market insights.
Oversee tender processes, from preparing detailed cash flow projections and technical assessments to managing risk/opportunity assessments.
Supervise the preparation of high-quality submission documents and contribute actively to post-tender negotiations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partners to foster effective collaboration and project success.
Skills and ExperienceTo excel in this role, you should have:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience estimating for large-scale civil projects.
Advanced skills in Expert Estimation or similar electronic estimating software.
Extensive experience in first-principle estimating, specifically for heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Strong organizational abilities with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and supporting a collaborative work culture.
