What does the job look like?
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day shift for our Marsden Park Distribution Centre supporting a highly valued and long-term Linfox customer.
As a senior warehousing professional you will be well positioned to ensure the operational efficiency of the shift by overseeing Receiving, Forklift, Pick and Loading functions.
Key areas:
The efficient day to day running of the warehouse with focus on safety, compliance, customer service and efficiency Identifying, evaluating and addressing warehousing risks focused on driving improvement and innovation Effective management and development of cross-functional team Proactive management of customer relationships facilitating growth Promoting a safety, health and wellbeing culture whilst ensuring operational targets are achieved Ensure that the systems and resources available are utilised to provide inventory integrity and confidence Are you the one?
Previous experience in a leadership role within a complex 3PL environment will enable you to make an immediate impact with the team.
You can also demonstrate:
Supervisory experience within a warehousing operations environment Effective leadership and people management capability, focused on team and personal development Prior experience with SAP and/or Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded Understanding of distribution processes including Stock control, inbound/outbound processing, pick face management, and transport management Strong analytical skills to plan resources effectively, analyse KPIs and identify process improvement Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures What's in it for me?
