About the opportunity
We're looking for a Freight Handler to join our diverse and hard-working team at our Premium Facility at Perth Airport.
With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.
This is a casual opportunity working approximately 3pm - 8pm over Mon-Fri, flexibility required for casual hours.
This vacancy pays $37.42/hr along with a 17.5% penalty rate on top for the PM shift and 12% super.
You'll be:
Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great serviceHandloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the roadUnloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouseWrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper, electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.About you
You're fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly – we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you're safe on the jobYou're laser focused, even when the role gets repetitiveYou're a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connectedYou have full Australian working rights.If you've got a forklift licence, that's a plus since this comes in handy moving freight around the warehouseHow we'll deliver for you
