About the Radiology Department The Austin Health Radiology Department offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services and operates at both the Austin and Repatriation Hospitals, as well as providing a satellite imaging service to Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre.
The nature of the work requires extended hours provision of service, and all staff are expected to contribute appropriately to cover the extended hours.
About the role An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology Department as Grade 3 CT Radiographer.
In conjunction with the Grade 4 CT Supervisor and fellow Grade 3 CT Radiographers, this role provides an important supportive leadership role in managing the daily clinical, service, and operational needs of the CT imaging services across Austin Health.
The successful applicant will help oversee maintenance and improvement of CT imaging service and access for ED, inpatient, and outpatient referrals.
The Grade 3 CT Radiographer is a clinical role but will have access to time to facilitate relevant administrative duties.
Relevant post-graduate qualification would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
