This is a temporary, full-time position (38 hours per week) for up to 6 months, offering an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of an ICT system that enhances the management of Assistive Technology across the Network, ultimately improving patient care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating GMAT implementation, assisting with training and system integration, managing reports and communications, and supporting inventory management.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the system is seamlessly integrated into daily operations.What you'll be doingThe Equipment Loan Pool Get my Assistive Technology (GMAT) is a project implementing this ICT system in all NSW Health LHD Equipment Loan Pool (ELP) operational sites.
This exciting program will improve visibility, planning and reporting of Assistive Technology used to facilitate patient discharge from Hospital.The Project Support Officer is responsible for a range of administrative and support activities to facilitate the effective implementation of the GMAT operating system within the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN).
The role will support the reporting, training, communication and embedding of the system into SCHN ELP operations.
It will also include storeroom organisation, inventory management, barcoding, ICT system installation and establishment of reporting suites.A qualification in a relevant field or relevant experience in project work or a combination of both.Demonstrated advanced ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while managing competing work priorities and workflow within allocated resources to support the Project Team, and to facilitate the efficient and effective functioning of the Project.Demonstrated ability to draft accurate and concise reports, documents, and correspondence, including the preparation of complex correspondence for senior stakeholders, in accordance with policies and procedures.Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, and various types of data, and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving to achieve business focused solutions.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships within teams and with customers, vendors and other stakeholders, using engagement and collaboration skills.Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and to work effectively across a number of IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SharePoint; procurement, and recruitment systems.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Current unrestricted NSW Driver's License and willingness to travel across the SCHN in the course of employment.SCHN is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity - we acknowledge the vibrancy that a diverse workforce brings to enhance both our workplace culture and our service delivery to children, young people and their families and carers.
