Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Lead - Solution Design who will be responsible for the squad's delivery through solution implementation on existing on-prem and future cloud platform by ensuring solutions quality and standards are upheld and adhere to the Data Office (DO) delivery, architecture, and design standards.
Key Responsibilities: Have an end-to-end vision and see how a logical design will translate into process & data solutions through the layered architecture within the Data Office (DO) landscape and Cloud providers application ecosystem.
Deliver, manage, and govern Solution Designs implementation patterns, frameworks, standards and best practices for data and capability products of Data Office (DO).
Concurrently work across multiple Data Office projects, providing direction to delivery teams regarding architecture, solution & design for initiatives.
Perform Detailed Solution Designs, Impact Assessments, Costings and Timelines.
Contribute in Delivery planning, technical & solution risk managements.
Maintain and contribute to continuously improving Data Office's CICD and DevOps framework, processes, tools and overall IP / documentation, partnering closely with TMO, Ops and other relevant domain teams.
Responsible in explaining the high-level solution to the stakeholders and how it maps to the requirements.
Responsible to provide direction for investigations & impact analysis of enhancements as well as change requests.
Responsible to provide awareness of other in-flight projects that may impact the solution on hand and provide mitigation paths.
Engagement of multiple parties, including customers (business), group IT peers and vendors, coordinating, facilitating and influencing the solution design & delivery approach to achieve the best value.
Ensures that solutions align to Enterprise architecture principles and strategic technology roadmaps.

Skills and Experience: 10+ years of industry experience with strong current solution architecture and design (implementation/consulting) experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience as data engineer/solution designer specializing in Big Data.
4+ years of design and implementation experience in data related solutions involving data ingestion (real time and batch code), stitching, data collection and processing including curation.
4+ years of design and implementation experience with building analytical solutions using commercial data platforms.
4+ years of design and implementation experience in IP network related solution, including IP switching & routing, firewalls and racking & stacking in Data Centre environment.
At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in analytics & reporting capabilities.
Cloud Engineering experience with Databricks, Azure, GCP or any major cloud providers.
Big Data technologies including Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Spark (Scala/Python).
Experience with Spark Streaming, Apache/Confluent Kafka.
Hands-on experience in Python.
Scheduler experience with Control-M, Airflow.
CICD tools including GitHub, Confluence, Jira, Jenkins.
Familiarity with associated supporting technologies such as Unix Shell, crontab.
Knowledge of IP networking, routing & switching, firewalls, and hardware rack & stack.
