We are a specialised recruitment agency working on behalf of our client, a leading company in Information Technology (IT).We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in advanced data platforms, cloud-based solution design, and a proven track record of delivering complex data and analytics solutions.
This role involves collaborating with business and technology teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions while addressing strategic and operational challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver advanced data and analytics solutions, including data integration, data migration, data profiling, metadata management, data quality, security, and governance.Develop solutions using cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Athena, Crawlers, and Lambda Functions.Build batch and real-time solutions using native AWS services and Kafka.Leverage prior experience with Databricks or similar platforms to design efficient and innovative data solutions.Develop framework-based metadata-driven solutions to ensure consistency and scalability.Provide solution design and advisory services on a range of strategic and operational issues related to data and analytics.Deliver solutions for large, complex programs of work, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.Key Skills and QualificationsExtensive experience (7–10 years) in advanced data platforms, solution design, and cloud-hosted technologies.Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Athena, Crawlers, and Lambda Functions.Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.Strong knowledge of data integration, migration, profiling, metadata management, quality, security, and governance.Proven ability to design batch and real-time solutions using AWS native services and Kafka.Experience in delivering large, complex programs of work with a focus on data and analytics.Strong understanding of technology trends and the Information and Technology industry.Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills across business and technology teams.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, competitive environment.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with data platform architecture and frameworks.Demonstrated ability to lead and advise on strategic data-related initiatives.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Why Join Us?Competitive salary package of $160k–$165k (All Inclusive).Opportunity to work on cutting-edge data and analytics projects with industry-leading technologies.A collaborative and innovative work environment that values continuous learning and development.If you are a highly skilled Data Solution Designer with expertise in cloud-based data platforms and a passion for delivering impactful solutions, we encourage you to apply.
