Site Supervisor We are looking for experienced Site Supervisor to bring SMP and Piping expertise in managing team and projects successfully.
About the role You are required to always exhibit leadership behaviour in safety, environmental protection, productivity, quality and the company policies and values.You will have several duties which will vary depending on your workplace and as set by your line manager, but these duties will generally always include:Organising work activities for workers to complete, allocating specific tasks to specific workers with the relevant skills etc.Preparing work fronts for work activities to commence, setting up jobs for workers to work on etc.Conducting QA checks on jobs e.g., dimension checks, bolt tensioning checks etc.Ensures the quality records and checklist for specific systems and buildings/areas are completed and collated progressively in accordance with project requirements.Monitoring work activities to ensure they are being done safely and efficiently and meeting quality requirements.Managing and overseeing sub-contractor.Monitoring certain work activities time keeping will be necessary to ensure efficiency.You will be accountable for the health and safety of your work crew; their safety and health will be one of your primary daily concerns.Regularly monitor work activities to ensure they are being conducted as safely as reasonably practicable and in accordance with any site and company safety requirements, JSEA's, SWMS and Permits.Ensure that any High-Risk Construction Work being performed is performed in accordance with the relevant SWMS.Tickets and experience required: Demonstrated capability on Mechanical / Piping Construction projects.Intermediate rigging skills and ability to sign off critical lifting studies onsite.Previous piping experience advantageous.We need a valid passport with no less than 12 months.What we are offering: Supportive Operations team and interesting projects.Competitive Salary on offer – we will consider experience, qualifications, references, and demonstrable capability during interview stage.Access to company Employee Assistance Program.About us: Sun Engineering is an Australian based, family-owned steel fabrication and construction company servicing the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and building industries amongst others.
