Business Development & Account Manager - Transport A fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic and growing express specialist, to drive the business in WA.
With their Perth office based in Kewdale, our client is a well-established and highly regarded company, specialising in Express Road Freight Services.
To manage their growth and customer base effectively within WA, they are looking for an experienced sales and account management professional to join their team and oversee the day-to-day marketing aspects of their business.
Working closely with the State Manager and other departmental managers, this role is seen as critical to the ongoing success of the business.
This is a 'Hunter' role, in which you'll be looking to identify, appraise and secure new client opportunities and then also a 'Farmer' role, when you manage them effectively to help grow their long-term value to the business.
A great package including a very competitive base salary, a generous vehicle allowance and achievable commission scheme is available to a suitably experienced and motivated sales professional.
What do you need to excel in this role?
A demonstrated background in a similar role and environment Strong client identification, attainment and maintenance skills, along with territory management skills Professional presentation and proposal development skills, complemented by the ability to demonstrate these skills in a customer-focused environment The ability to effectively manage a 'client-facing' role in a demanding environment.
The desire to become a key part of a national business development team and a valued asset to both your clients and your colleagues.
