With a foundation of Germany-based solar power plant planning and implementation, our specialised team works with clients across the globe to use energy produced by solar power systems to improve all aspects of life.
As an international company, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development activities in the Australia solar market.QualificationsBachelor's degree from a reputable university.6+ years' prior business development experience, of which at least 4+ years in the Australia solar energy sector.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven knowledge of executing successful business development strategies.Ability to plan, coordinate/monitor all sales and marketing operations in Australia.Vast knowledge about market regulations, customary trends, and developments including innovative practices.Direct contact with customers, third parties, as well as other departments ensuring profitability is the main priority.Focused and goal-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in written and spoken English.No travel restrictions.ResponsibilitiesIdentify partnership opportunities in Australia.Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company expand in the Australia market.Think critically when planning to assure project success.Market identification, investigation & knowledge.Propose and develop market strategy.Identify, contact, and establish relationships with targeted customers to generate leads and requests for quotations.Lead Go/No Go discussions in relation to new leads and RFQs.Coordinate communication with clients and internally during bid preparation.Prepare proposals and define appropriate price levels necessary to secure projects, respecting the company's target profit margin and approval procedure.Lead commercial discussions and negotiations until contract award.Coordinate with operational teams for handover upon award.Lead commercial aspects of ongoing projects in coordination with the project manager.Participate in the internal tender approval process for bids where required.Collect information relating to bids and organize it to support continuous improvement of the bidding process.Actively propose actions and participate in the continuous improvement process.Fulfill other duties assigned within the scope of responsibilities and work objectives.Why Join Us?Career Growth: Play a key role in our journey into the Australian market in the fast-growing solar energy sector.Supportive Environment: Work with a team that is on a mission to be the best in the business through collaboration and maintaining true work/life balance.Sustainability: Contribute to renewable energy projects that positively impact the environment.Innovation: Be part of a company that values creativity and cutting-edge technology.How to Apply:All candidates must hold the legal right to work in Australia.Applications for this role may be reviewed as they are received, so we encourage you to apply without delayJoin us in powering the future with clean energy#J-18808-Ljbffr
