Business Development Manager/Account Manager LMA is part of a respected Australian-owned multinational print, print management, technology, and logistics company.
We are a dynamic business employing 500 staff across Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, and USA built on our core values of understanding, innovation, commitment and delivery .

LMA is experiencing steady market growth in our labelling division and is currently searching for an experienced and passionate Business Development/Account Manager to join our sales team and continue to client growth across Australia, in a full-time permanent position that is based out of our head office in South Granville, Sydney.

The role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and General Manager - LMA , you will be working in this key position in the sales team to help drive growth and success in the LMA division.
Working with our team, you will need to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
This role requires leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, along with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Your role will be supported by a dedicated Customer Service Representative to drive internal and onsite business functions.

Key responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve sales targets within Australia.
Conduct market research/scoping to analyze and identify new business opportunities, both short and long-term, by creating a sales pipeline to achieve budgeted targets & business goals.
Establish and maintain solid relationships with existing clients and cultivate new relationships with potential clients.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that the company delivers quality service.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote the company's products and services.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in business development and sales in either print or selling into other manufacturing industries or markets that have packaging requirements.

It would be ideal if you are a self-starter with a passion for sales and business development, have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and have a network within the industry to grow your client portfolio.
Finding the right solution to service our clients is key

You can differentiate yourself if you have the following attributes:
At least 5 years of experience in business development and sales in relevant industries.
A self-starter with a passion for sales and business development.
An established network for a BDM to leverage from and continue to grow.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
Ability to sell "inside" the business as well as outside.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Windows Suite including Outlook & Excel.
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire to learn and absorb new information.
Printing experience an advantage.
