Asvaus | Senior Business Development Manager

ASKO Appliances is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of premium European home appliances globally, and in Australia.
A vacant position of senior business development manager now exists within Queensland sales team to further develop and grow the business.
Position Purpose:
Full understanding and product knowledge competency for all AU brands and products.
Develop and grow retail business for responsible accounts in State and individual territory with consideration to company profit and sales objectives.
Achieve State and Individual Sales Budgets set quarterly and annually.
Lead, motivate and manage State BDM's at an operational and 'day to day' level.
Foster team development with installers and service technicians.
Represent ASKO at quarterly state major account meetings and events.
Conduct regular in-store & group training on all ASKO products.
Regularly communicate and present business updates/provide reports to agents.
Specific Tasks:
Conduct meetings with ASKO agents to review status of business providing sales development, target updates promoting how 'ASKO adds value' to their business.
Ensuring Point of Sale and marketing material is distributed and displayed correctly as per company guidelines.
Monitor market competitor issues to identify business opportunities and to assist marketing / product teams.
Providing regular business performance updates to National Retail Sales Manager, including Call Cycle/Training/Sales objective reporting.
Establish a customer specific business development plan and advise corrective action or activities required to maximise company objectives.
Analyse, review and establish action plans for underperforming stores within State (assisting BDM) and your own territory.
Manage call schedules with BDM's identifying customer visit, actions discussed and outcomes.
Document weekly product training sessions including attendees and products trained on.
Optimise call schedules for responsible teams.
Not to exceed set entertainment and expense budget for State.
Fully assist in resolving consumer, customer problems in conjunction with the after sales and service team by providing as much information as possible.
Conduct stocktakes at the required frequency set out by inventory department with relevant agents within State/Territory.
Preferred Position Requirements:
Experience in a related sales or account management role (preferably min.
3 years) High presentation, negotiation skills at all levels of business High standard of personal presentation.
Demonstrated & proven success in meeting or exceeding company sales budgets.
Excellent time management and call cycle planning skills Experience or proficiency in managing people or teams Experience within the consumer market is desirable.
The ability to travel regionally/interstate involving nights away from your normal base.
