We currently employ 200+ personnel with further expansion forecast for 2025.The RoleRDH is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Officer to join our team and help us attract top talent in the industry. Due to ongoing growth and project demands, we are seeking a new team member to assist in managing the daily influx of resumes. We focus on getting to know each candidate before they become an employee in the hopes of fostering good relationships and understanding our employees' wants, needs, and training development goals. This role requires someone who loves to chat while managing information in a timely and friendly manner. We welcome applicants with Recruitment, Mobilisation, or HR experience.Job Specific Responsibilities (but not limited to)Support recruitment and onboarding processes for:Blue Collar: Supervisors, heavy earthmoving operators, workshop personnel & skilled labourers.White Collar: Office staff, project managers/engineers, site administrators, and more.Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.Complete applicant pre-screens and reference checks on RDH supplied paperwork.Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.Maintain candidate databases and ensure timely communication throughout the recruitment process.Assist in onboarding new hires and support their integration into the team.Liaise with candidates to build rapport and deliver information to the team and management systems.Book medicals and manage Drug & Alcohol processes for personnel.Process National Police Clearances as required.Arrange PPE, Inductions, and relevant requirements.Collate documentation, certificates/licenses and ensure compliance for mobilisation.Assist with travel arrangements for new employees.Work closely with Management and Project Administrators to ensure projects are correctly resourced.Manage logistics and necessary travel requirements to site for new starters.Review project-specific rosters and internal records to identify resourcing requirements.Manage a busy outlook email and action emails promptly and efficiently.Potential for more high-level HR tasks if experience allows.Skills, Experience, Abilities and QualificationsProven experience in recruitment, preferably in the civil construction sector.Strong understanding of construction roles and industry standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as a team, independently, and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in using recruitment software and office suite tools.Exceptional multi-tasking ability and experience in managing conflicting priorities effectively.High level of organisational skills with a good memory, as the role involves changing logistics daily.Ability to work under pressure and build rapport with personnel.Ability to build relationships with on-site personnel, office staff, and management.Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.High attention to detail.INX or Pronto experience (or similar) looked upon favourably.Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory).Driver's licence (mandatory).Why Work for Red Dust HoldingsPositive rewarding work and safety culture.Weekly Pay.Endless opportunities for training and career development.A fast-paced but inclusive, involved, and supportive work environment.Supportive all-round office and site staff to assist you in your role.Genuine recognition within the company as a member of the team and not just a number.Access to our EAP - Employee Assistance Program.If you are passionate about connecting talent with opportunity in the civil construction field, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume and a cover letter via Seek or directly to ****** immediate start is available for this position.
