As a Senior Advisor, Workplace Health and Safety, you will provide expert advice and deliver a comprehensive workplace health and safety program, contributing to the safety and wellbeing of employees and ensuring legislative compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders to meet business objectives.Finalise the WHS Management System Manual, including creating guidelines for:Remote and Isolated WorkFlammable Atmospheres / Hot WorksPlant, Equipment & MaterialsNoiseWorking at HeightsContractor ManagementPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE/RPE)Storage, Shelving & RackingWHS Considerations for Procurement / PurchasingInfection ControlUpdate relevant SharePoint pages and redesign WHS consultation processes.Develop WHS assurance tools, risk escalation processes, and responsibilities matrices.Provide expert WHS advice to managers and staff on safety functions, including risk management and health and wellness initiatives.Support the operationalisation of strategic WHS objectives and initiatives.Assist in managing psychosocial risks and ensure compliance with WHS systems.Create and maintain safety documentation, such as Safe Work Method Statements.Lead or assist WHS investigations, audits, and risk assessments, and provide actionable recommendations.Support emergency and incident response activities, including travel for on-water operations as required.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proven experience in workplace health and safety, with a deep understanding of WHS legislation.Strong skills in developing WHS guidelines, tools, and documentation.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience in psychosocial risk management and implementing WHS initiatives.Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments, and provide practical safety solutions.A proactive approach to supporting emergency and incident response.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about workplace health and safety and want to make a difference, we want to hear from youApply now and join us in creating safer and healthier workplaces.
