School Business Manager

Are you a talented School Business Manager currently seeking a new opportunity in Derby and the surrounding areas?
Aspire People are working closely with several schools who are recruiting Business Managers to work on a temporary, ongoing basis with the view of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have strong experience working as a School Business Manager, or within a senior finance related position within education.
The school is looking for somebody who has the drive and ambition to aid the school in achieving outstanding status.
As a full-time Business Manager, you will be expected to perform as if you were a permanent member of staff.
You will be expected to:
Attend Senior Management/Leadership Team, full Governing Body and appropriate Governors' sub-committee meetings.
Negotiate and influence strategic decision making within the school's Senior Management/Leadership Team.
In the absence of the Head Teacher, take delegated responsibility for Financial and other decisions.
Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development/strategic plan.
Lead and manage all school support staff.
You will be supported by me, Lisa Drennan.
I am Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the East Midlands.
