About The RoleAs a Chemical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:1.
Process Safety and Risk Engineering:Preparation, and recording of technical workshops including HAZID, HAZOP, CHAZOP, LOPA, and SIL across industries such as oil & gas, mining, chemical manufacturing, explosives manufacturing, and energy sectors.Preparation, and recording of ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) demonstration workshops.2.
Dangerous Goods Compliance:Conduct regulatory compliance assessments for dangerous goods storage, handling facilities, explosives, and security-sensitive ammonium nitrate (SSAN).Prepare, document, and record dangerous goods risk assessments (DG RA).Support process safety audits, perform gap analyses, and ensure alignment with regional and international safety regulations and standards.3.
Major Hazard Facility (MHF):Conduct regulatory compliance assessments for Major Hazard Facilities.Preparation of Safety Cases and safety reports for MHF compliance.4.
Project Management:Oversee project time management and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.5.
Technical Leadership:Contribute to the continuous improvement of our methodologies and processes.About YouTo excel in this role, you should have:Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.1-2 years of experience in a similar role within engineering, risk, or process safety projects.Full Australian working rights.Demonstrated understanding of dangerous goods regulations and Major Hazard Facility regulations or equivalent international frameworks (e.g., COMAH, UK HSE).Proven communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations.Strong organisational and project management skills.What We OfferCompetitive pay and superannuation benefitsPermanent roleA supportive and inclusive work environment.Ongoing professional development and mentoring.Opportunities to work on critical infrastructure projects globally.Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Role location is Perth CBD or client sites.
