With business booming and their continued look into the future, they are looking to bring in a Logistics Manager to run the operation in Brisbane.Being a fast-paced business with a vibrant feel to the warehouse, they are looking for someone who can lead this positive, energetic, and hard-working team to even bigger and better thingsThe warehouse will be moving into a new facility shortly, making this an exciting time to join the businessThe main purpose of this role is to:Manage the 3PL warehouse team and transition them into a new facility, with both palletized & bulk.Lead a small team effectively, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment while ensuring alignment with goals.Identify optimum staffing levels across shifts to meet cost and service KPIs.Streamline warehouse processes to maximize space utilization and improve workflow with limited staff.Monitor productivity and accuracy of all team members to ensure optimum performance is delivered daily while maintaining a safe working environment.Use and update the warehouse management system & RF scanners.Respond quickly to changes in workload, staffing needs, or client demands, maintaining operational continuity.Be a hands-on leader, not just sitting behind a desk.Ensure customer satisfaction.Manage warehouse-related customer delivery issues.Control and manage P&L, managing resources, suppliers, budgeting, and profit contributions.To be successful in this role you will:Have a minimum of 2 years warehouse management experience or similar.Be a great people leader.Be experienced with warehouse management systems.Be a team player with a strong work ethic.Be a problem solver and have a customer service mentality.Understand what it takes to be successful in the general day-to-day running of a 3PL warehouse.A knowledge of 3PL is a bonus.This position offers a highly competitive salary as well as several other benefitsTo find out more about this opportunity, click APPLY NOW and good luck
