Ongoing projects within a Darwin Onshore Processing FacilityWork Schedule: 5:2 local Darwin residents or FIFO 2:1 from Perth or BrisbaneIdeal Candidate: Would suit a Project Manager with a SMP backgroundTHE ROLEProject Management/DeliveryManage all aspects of the project including contract and client management, estimating, programming of work, and defect rectification.Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors.Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule, and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings.Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity.Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment.Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.Employee RelationsFoster channels of communication on site to engage with employees and create a positive workforce culture.Motivate project team and ensure accountability for delivering with efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure employee performance reviews are completed, and any issues are addressed.CommercialTake ownership of all commercial aspects of the project.Manage and analyze project expenditure and duration.Pre-ContractEngage with clients and internal subject matter experts at precontract stage to understand scope and contribute to the tender process.ABOUT YOUAlong with extensive project management and delivery skills, you will have a SMP background (Structural Mechanical Piping) that includes one or more of the following:Structural or Mechanical Engineer with Project Manager experience.Planner who has worked in the field in O&G and has knowledge of Primavera.You will have experience in managing projects in and around the Oil and Gas industry, along with leadership skills, commercial acumen, and planning and programming skills.Desirable QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar.THE BENEFITSOngoing rewards & recognition programs.Paid parental leave.Salary sacrifice options.Employee Assistance Program.Novated lease options.Submit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
