Restaurant Manager

Al Dente Enoteca Pty Ltd in Carlton, Melbourne is looking for a full time Restaurant Manager to join the team.
You'll be working closely with the owners, chefs, General Manager, and leading our team of youn, passionate hospitality professionals.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with 2+ years experience in a similar role.
Your duties will include the following;
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day restaurant operationsCollaborating with our head chef to plan seasonal menus and specialsManaging special functions and eventsAuditing inventory levels to ensure stock availabilityLiaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing to maximise profits; we will set KPI's for front of house staff to reach, which will be managed and pushed by youIdentifying stock shortages and liaising with suppliers, placing goods orders and reviewing quality of products deliveredTraining new and current restaurant staffManaging front of house staff, including rostering and assisting with performance reviewsEnforcing adherence to hygiene and occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environmentEnsuring the cleanliness and hygiene of dining areasEnsuring the restaurant facilities are maintained in good working orderMaintaining and ensuring high levels of customer service (we are passionate about building community
)Communicating with diners to ensure their satisfaction with their dining experienceHandling customer complaintsManaging and recording all financial transactionsLiaising with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in the restaurantTaking reservations
