We provide a broad range of financial services and products to our clients – whether they be consumers, corporations, governments or institutions.Shape your Career with CitiCiti's Securities Services (SS) supports our clients' business by drawing on our unmatched global footprint, providing access to local expertise and scalable solutions.We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Securities & Derivatives Senior Analyst - C12 - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Sr Analyst - C12) based in Melbourne, Australia.In this role, you're expected to:Record all incoming queries in the Enquiry Database systemProvide CDS (Citidirect for Securities) level 1 support for all clientsPrepare and manage client credit requirements for each settlement dayMonitor all settlement systems to ensure issues are escalated and resolvedPrepare weekly/monthly client service reports for meetings with operations managementMaintain client signatory lists and service standardsManage all new client take-ons for smooth implementationCommunicate cross-selling opportunities to the Account Management TeamConduct quarterly client service calls and prepare call reportsParticipate in system testing and process improvement projectsManage client issues and escalate as necessaryAssist with preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly MISManage the distribution of incoming manual client instructionsProactively work with peers across internal teamsManage relationships with Citi internal teams globallyBe a first point of escalation for client problemsProject management, including process improvements and client projectsMaintain knowledge of new market and regulatory requirementsParticipate in client experience initiativesAssess risk when making business decisionsDeliver high-quality customer service and build client relationshipsEnsure team task/service qualityProvide solutions and influence decisionsContribute to the development of new customer service techniquesConduct periodic service reviewsResponsible for client satisfaction and delivery of resultsLead or support special projects and negotiate with external partiesDeliver a high-quality service experience across the client baseAs a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:Minimum 5 years of relevant experienceExperience on clearing systems i.e. CHESS, EXIGO and RBNZExposure to client contact at a senior levelAbility to comprehend difficult concepts and disseminate information clearlyEnsure ASX Business rules are upheldGood understanding of Service Level AgreementsStrong background in back office processesProven self-reliance and accountabilityDemonstrated ability to lead teamsAbility to foster a coaching environmentAbility to identify and recommend operational improvementsWorking knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, and Cash markets in Australia and New ZealandKnowledge of SWIFTUnderstanding of corporate action eventsAt least 8 years of industry experienceSecurities Institute Australia (SIA) qualifications preferredStrong communication skills and client service experienceHighly organized with an ability to prioritize workAbility to work in a team environmentKeen learner and proactive in process improvementWillingness to assist othersAbility to receive and give directionParticipate in team development programsHigh level of interpersonal skillsAbility to influence issuesWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
