We readily implement new practices and procedures, such as the Sanctuary Model of Care, which actively promotes emotional, social, moral and physical well-being for both our staff and clients.The opportunityIFYS has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join 'The Old Church Youth Accommodation' and 'Transitional Housing' program.
The program provides young people aged 16 to 25 with safe accommodation, as well as services that enable positive education and employment outcomes, to help them build careers and transition into their own accommodation.The Administration Assistant will undertake the day-to-day administration tasks and support property management activities for the Old Church Youth Accommodation program and the Transitional Housing program.What's on offer?Part time, fixed term employment contract until 30th June 2026Work based from Nambour, 9am to 3pm, Monday to FridayBase hourly equivalent base $33.41 + superannuationNot-for-profit salary packaging options to increase take home pay (package up to $15,900 per FBT year)Career and professional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environmentFree access to the CALM Premium App + Flight Centre personal travel discountsAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Key objectives:Act as a first point of contact for the program in person, via phone or electronic communicationsAssist the Coordinator with tenancy paperwork and maintaining client rent records in ChintaroComplete timely and accurate administrative tasks as required, including (but not limited to): data collection and entry, records maintenance and filingSupport the on-boarding process of new staff members and volunteers in collaboration with the HR teamResponsible for purchasing and ensuring accurate levels of stock and dealing with external suppliersSupport the booking of rooms and external servicesKey requirements:Demonstrated experience in administration support or similarIntermediate skill level with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint requiredExperience engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholdersThe ability to work with initiative and autonomyStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to manage multiple and competing prioritiesMust hold or be willing to obtain if successful:Valid Queensland Driver's License with no restrictions, and own reliable transportQLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)Licensed Care Service Suitability Check (LCS2)National Criminal History Check (a new check will be conducted through IFYS systems)If you would like further information on this role, please call to speak to Danielle in the Recruitment team or email #J-18808-Ljbffr
