A specialist position within the Operations department, the Digital Operation Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day digital operations of our digital advertising assets.This role involves monitoring and maintaining the digital infrastructure of JCDecaux Australia's digital advertising assets, ensuring all assets are operational and content is playing properly using the monitoring system and various other operational tools.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Remote managing and monitoring of digital assets, both reactively and proactively identifying issues.Troubleshoot media players, display screens, and communication devices to keep the advertisement panel showing content properly.Assist local field teams to prepare and test digital furniture for quality assurance.Compile and update procedures, manuals, and instructions relating to digital assets and delivery.Visit sites as required to troubleshoot when an incident cannot be resolved by field operatives and requires expert knowledge.Log detected and reported faults in the ticketing system.Communicate back to internal and external stakeholders on reported faults.Analyze returned players from the field, repair them, and return them to stock in the warehouse.Assist with the commissioning of newly installed digital assets.Minimize screen downtime through active monitoring and response.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce costs.Manage ad hoc maintenance requests for third parties.TO BE SUCCESSFUL:You will be someone with demonstrated experience in a technical support role. In addition to:Experience with Linux operating systems preferred.Experience with computer networking.Understanding of computer hardware components and repair.Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook and Excel.Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent experience preferred.Experience in a similar monitoring/troubleshooting role of digital components is desirable.
