Ready to take charge and drive transport operations to success? We're seeking a dynamic leader for our Transport Control Tower at Ingleburn Distribution Centre. You'll oversee Transport operations across the Pacific Zone, ensuring safety, top-notch service, quality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. Join us and make your IMPACT in transport management Benefits & Perks Career progression opportunities and tailored support pathwaysAdditional paid leave options e.g. Parental/Carer's Leave, Volunteer leave, Mental health leave etc.Discounts on major brands, insurance options etc.Annual bonus SchemeEmployee Share programAbout the RoleAccountable for managing the Transport Control Tower, this includes Inbound International and Outbound Domestic Transport performance (Safety, Service, Quality, Sustainability & Cost).Monitor the flow of shipments from sources globally and last mile to customer domestically.Manage specific events impacting Transport shipments (weather, capacity constraints, traffic delays, damage) to mitigate service impacts to customers and provide a high level of end-to-end communication to stakeholders.Coordinate the Transport Control Tower performance on the following activities:Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly Reviews with our Carrier Partners and support groups (Customer Care, Planning, Warehousing) inside the Control Tower located in our Distribution Centre (Ingleburn, Sydney).Review & Monitor performance dashboards and drive continuous improvement actions.Pro-active notifications/alerts to Customers on shipment delays.About YouDegree/Diploma in transport/freight forwarding/logistics management or information systems technology and management related to transport & logistics.3 - 4 years experience in the transport/freight forwarding/logistics field or information system technology management.Knowledge in transportation daily operations, 3PL industry know-how, and supply chain understanding.Good knowledge in SAP/OTM/EDI, Microsoft Office suite, great communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.Why Schneider Electric?Working for Time's Most Sustainable Company means working toward a cleaner, better world.
