Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC – Melbourne VICThe Advisor, Regulatory Strategy will work in a dedicated team to develop and support the implementation of key regulatory strategy, policies and procedures for Recycling Victoria's regulatory and oversight functions. The Advisor will also develop and provide in-house advice to support the application of those strategies, policies and procedures.Working with colleagues across Recycling Victoria, the Advisor will support a program of work to build Recycling Victoria's internal regulatory capabilities while setting expectations of external stakeholders across the waste sector.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications in public policy, regulation, law, social sciences, economics, or similar (desirable).Demonstrated experience in public sector administration, management and processes, including experience in supporting the development and implementation of policies, strategies and/or operating procedures.This is a fixed term position available until 12 December 2025.
