About GCM:GCM was established back in 1999 and is a locally owned and operated electrical and automotive wholesaler.
We pride ourselves on strong customer and supplier relationships and are known for stocking a large range of electrical, automotive and lighting products.GCM is looking to expand our automotive sales team and appoint a highly motivated, personable and sales-driven individual.
Work alongside the industry's best to grow personally and professionally.Your duties would include but would not be limited to:Counter sales, servicing domestic and industrial contractors.Serve customers on the counter, answer phone and email enquiries.Prepare accurate quotes.Build and strengthen key customer relationships and add value to an existing customer base.Stock Ordering.Develop product knowledge.Actively work in a team to ensure the store is presented in the best possible way.Skills required for this job would include:Excellent work ethic and presentation.Experience in customer service and sales.Excellent problem-solving skills to support our customers in finding what they need.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Automotive or supply chain experience is preferred but not essential.Trade experience is strongly advantageous.Excellent communication (verbal and written).Computer literacy.Growth mindset and a passion for learning.Skills not essential but advantageous:Driver's licence.Forklift licence.Benefits:Profit Share Scheme.Above award wages.Work with an experienced team to progress your career in a great industry.Training and access to career development opportunities.Inclusive team and a fun, modern work environment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearWork Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
